Numbrs is a multi-banking app that aggregates the user's bank accounts, balances and transactions. Based on understanding user needs after years of user research and unsatisfied with current PFM functionality, I designed this concept to improve the app's core experience and give users a much better, relevant and useful overview of their finances. The new ideas focus on monthly budgeting, spending analysis and management of bills and subscriptions.

Onboarding
UX
IxD
I’ve worked as a lead UX designer on improving and optimising Numbrs’ onboarding flow and pertaining functionality like login and password reset for several years. I’m proud of creating a graceful, clear visual and interaction style, which served as a model for all forms in Numbrs and eventually inspired a full redesign of the app.

Connecting a bank

Part of onboarding, this is a critical user task for Numbrs. I've worked on optimising this technically challenging functionality for years, continuously improving conversion and adjusting to technological and legal changes brought by PSD2 and entering the UK market.

The Sandbox mobile application was to be a complex, but uninspired app of directory, events, news and chat functionality for Sandbox members. After conducting remote usability tests and deep interviews with 10 community members, I designed a new concept that would radically cut down on functionality to create a unique, personalised Sandbox experience instead of the generic, DIY experience of the initial concept.
UX
I built an interactive prototype and tested with 10 Sandboxers personally and remotely. I found not only the expected usability issues, but also realised that our initial app concept was lacking.
